You Are Amazing Project Kit~

Hello Stampers!

Hope you had a good weekend full of crafting time!  I was able to get together with family and put together some fun cards from the Are You Amazing Project Kit!

I also teamed this set up with the Free Sale-a-bration set, Approaching Perfection.  I stamped the insides of the cards with this set and one set of cards with "happy birthday".  The outside of the rest of the cards were stamped with the You Are Amazing stamp set.

Stampin' Up has several kits to choose from in the Annual or Occasions catalog. I chose this one being I knew I wanted to create cards for our church "thinking of you card box".

I really enjoyed the bright colors in this kit.  The instructions are simple to follow or you can create your cards with the plentiful supplies.

You Are Amazing, Approaching Perfection stamp sets.

Rainbow birthday card~

Banner Thanks card~

Happy Birthday Bubble card~ I chose to add Granny Apple Green ribbon rather than the baker's twine included in the set.

Happy Birthday flowers card~

This kit created 16 cards, if you chose to, you could use the front and backs of the card as a DSP and create 32 cards!

It comes with matching envelopes and a box to hold all your finished cards.

Retired Set Saturday~Tassel Time

Hello Stampers!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!

As it gets close to graduation I have been asked to create cards, so that is what I have started to do!  The stamp sets I usually fall back on are retired, so YAY it's Retired Set Saturday!  Tassel Time!
Our school colors here in town are orange and black!  I picked out Whisper White, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie card stock.
I also added some retired Orange Glimmer paper and Wink of stella to the scroll.
If you have this set, bring it out, time to get creative!

Remember stay calm and stamp on!

Hello Stampers!

Card base, Whisper White Thick.  I used Blueberry Bushel for the strip.
Who does not like the fun colored jelly beans? I used Wink of Stella to the white beans and white on the lollipop  to add a little sparkle!
Make sure you head on over to Freshly Made Sketches to see all the wonderful card samples, there is bond to be one or more ideas that you click with to get your creative juices going!

2018 Graduation cards~

Hello Stampers!
Our Graduation was this past weekend, it's so crazy how fast time goes by!  It seems like we just started school and here we are at the end.

Here is what I came up with!
The stamp set, Graduation is returned.  I am so glad I have the large Letter Framelits before they are gone!  (They are retiring next month!)
The embossed images were embossed with gold and black embossing powder that I mixed!   I love how it turned out.

Sunshine Wishes of Birds & Booms Congrats card~

Hello Stampers!
Happy Friday to you.  Do you have plans for the weekend?  Our fair is going on here so it's off to the fair for us!

I was challenged to create a card using no rubber stamps.  This is what I came up with.
Using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits for the 'Congrats' and the adorable birds from the Birds & Blooms thinlits.
Card Stock used:
Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi and a piece of retired Glimmer Paper for the sentiment.

To adhere the images I used Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To change the color of the 'father bird' I sponged a little Pear Pizzazz over the Soft Sky to get the new pretty color.

Thank you for joining me today!  If you have any questions please let me know. Hope you have a great weekend!
Happy Stampin'!

Welcome little one

Hello Stampers!
Here's my project for today!
I realized I was running low on baby cards so I dug out the Something for Baby stamp set and matching Framelits.
I used some scraps of DSP with hearts on it for both a boy and girl cards.
I also added some lace on the baby girls and I found some cute mini buttons in my stash to add to the baby outfit.
Such a fun set!

Hope you have a Bomb Pop 4th of July!

Hello my crafting friends!

The 4th of July is sneaking up on me!  Rather you head out to the lake to have some fun camping and fishing or head to be the beach, we're all out having some fun and celebrating our Independence!
I don't know if it's because it's so hot outside or I just wanted to make a 'Bomb Pop'  but this is the 1st thing I thought of for my 4th of July card.  LOL   I also wanted to use my stamp set I found at Michael's  I have used this set before, I really like the swirls in this set.
Plus, it's a photopolymer!
To hold the Real Red and Pacific Point card stock and Glimmer Paper, (all cut at 1 1/2 x 1 inch) I taped the back to keep it from slipping around when I stick to the Whisper White card stock that I stamped a swirl in Real Red.  Before I stuck it for good, I put a small scrap of Crumb Cake for a stick.
The sentiment is from a retired SU set.  I think it's time to go to the store and pick some up, yum!!

Thank you for joining me today!
