Mini Cupcake Tutorial by Cheryl~

Happy Friday Stampers!
I hope you have a super fun day.  I was brought up that you can make a bad day go good simply by having a positive attitude.  I am positive that I love this project!!
Here is another graduation treat hand out, only these are for my daughter's 8th grade promotion.  You could use these for any kind of celebration, even simply it's FRIDAY celebration!  :)

Here's what you'll need to create these.
-Chocolate chip card stock cut to 4" X 4" (makes 4)
-I used the Zig Zag Embossing Folder (retiring soon!)
-Cupcake builder Punch (retiring soon!)
-Scraps of DSP and card stock
-Real Red scrap pieces
-Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write marker

Punch out several cupcake tops and cherries.
You will need to run the Chocolate Chip card stock through your Big Shot or Textured Boutique.  score your card stock every 1" then turn and cut into 1" strips.
Fold up so you get a triangle and use Fast Fuse or adhesive of your choice.
Next attach the top of the cupcake, you will need two tops, one on either side of the triangle.
Color the stem of the cherry with Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write.
Then place a Hershey's Kiss in the triangle.

Isn't it just so cute?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Encourage-MINT!

Happy day to you stampers!
I have another fun and fast graduation project to share with you today.
I used Junior mints and wrapped it with Basic Black.  I then printed off a picture and wrote up the sentiment "Thank you for your encouragMINT"  These are so simple to make, you can do it while watching your favorite movie!

I have also used York Mints, but being my nephew does not care for mint I let my kids choose what kind of mints to use! :)

Thank you for joining me today!  Tomorrow is Friday!!  Hooray!

"Big School"

Hello Stampers!
Happy Wednesday to you!  We are half way through another fabulous week!  I can't believe our school year is almost over!  I am super excited to spend summer break with my children, but I am not excited to say goodbye to my preschool class, I enjoy seeing them everyday and will miss them when they head off to 'big school'!

Speaking of heading off to 'big school', my nephew is graduating from High School and I have been working on some fun little treats to hand out at his after graduation party.
These are one of them!
Aren't they just fun?  I am sure you have seen these before, I see more and more of them year by year but I wanted to share what I have been up to and why I haven't had the time to post on my blog!  LOL
They are simply Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups I have also used Rolos but these were picked this year so that's what I am going with.  I used floss to in his colors to tie a 'tassel' to the left corner of the square.
I did use Stampin' Up's! Basic Gray as the base for his picture and attached it with Fast Fuse, then used a Glue Dot to stick it to the candy.

Thank you for joining me today!  If you have any questions please let me know, I will be sharing another project tomorrow!

Gift Card Candy box Tutorial~by Cheryl

Hello Stamping friends!
Hope your day is going well for you.  We are finally getting some much needed rain here in NE MT! With the fires to the North of us in Canada, I know we all could use a good soaking!  I pray our summer is not all hot, and full of fires.  I hope it's balanced with rain and sun!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you how I create these fun Gift Card candy boxes!
First you will want to cut your card stock down to 9 3/4"x 7"
Score the longest side at 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2" 4 1/2" and 7"
Turn and score at 1" on both sides
Cut down both sides of the 1" score sides, cut off the smallest bit and the two larger bits so it looks like this.
Fold it up on the score marks then take the Window Punch (retiring!!!) and make a window on the first section after the smallest scored piece.
Cut the DSP of your choice to these sizes.
1-4 1/2" x 2 1/4"
1-1 1/4" x  3 1/2" -(white piece for stamped image)
4- 7/8" x 4 3/4"
Attach with Snail then cut out the window, (I don't like cutting through card stock and DSP but if you want to save a step go for it!
Before adhering the box together you will want to use the 1" circle punch to cut out a notch to pull out the card, on the right side of your box. I used Hersey's Kisses for the 'treat' to go along with the gift card.
Decorate your front as desired, I made this one for Teacher's appreciation week!

There you have it!  If you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you for joining me today!

See what I've been up to!

Hello Stampers!
Gosh last week just flew by!  I started off with making some fun Teacher Appreciation projects but I never got all them posted.  I am also working on some fun graduation hand outs for my nephew's graduation.
I will share them this week!!
Today I will do a catch up of my teacher's appreciation projects!
I made simple pockets to hold gift cards for our local coffee place.

If you get a paper gift certificate and it does not have a cover for it you can simply use some DSP, measure the GC and add 1/2" for adhesive.  That's it!  How simple is that?  Then add some fun embellishments and you have a fun gift card/certificate holder!

Have you checked out the clearance rack or the items that will be leaving Stampin' Up! for good?  You can see them both on my online store!!CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE STORE!

Thank you for joining me today!
Have a great week!
