Paper Pumpkin World's Greatest~Alternatives #paperpumpkinworldsgreatest

 Hello Stampers!

I finally got to my Paper Pumpkin, World's Greatest!

I liked their layouts but I also came up with some alternatives I wanted to share.
I am always in the need for birthday cards so three of them I decided to do birthday cards with, the 'award' I made that a teacher card, and the 'ribbon metal' I just made a basic congratulations.
On this one I added strips of Pacific blue to the card base from the kit.
The second of this style  I used Whisper White Thick card base, next layered a 1/4 inch smaller than an A-2 Card base Pacific blue and then cut strips from the card base from the kit and attached as shown.  The Pacific Point really popped when it was layered right on the card base from the kit, what do you think?
Next two projects I made pretty much like the sample showed.  I like having plenty of 'teacher' cards.  Not just for school, but for Sunday school, hunting safety instructor, anyone who has taught you something new and fun!
Finally, the shaker card just had to be a birthday card!  I used past Paper Pumpkin and Stampin' Up stamps to create this card!

All Good Things Come From Above~Autumn Goodness

Hello Stampers!
Are you ready for the beauty of fall?
How about a beautiful card created with the Autumn Goodness Photopolymer stamp set?  This layout was inspired by the Holiday Catalog!  There are tons of ideas right in the book, not just great stamps but ideas!!
I like this stamp set, it has such beautiful detail.
The Autumn Wheelbarrow Dies add so much more!  I just love this white picket fence.
Card Stock used: Bumble Bee, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.

Stampin' Ink: Bumble Bee, Memento Black

Stampin' Blends: Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Just Jade, Daffodil Delight.

Tip:  To make this a quick card, I had sat down and created several images from this stamp set ahead of time, then using the dies cut them out in a snap!  When you have items prepped ahead of time, say when you want to do something crafty but still watch your favorite tv show.  You can get the 'side' work done so you can pop out a card in no time when you need one in a snap!

That was the case of this card, I needed a friendship card for a Pen Pal and wanted to beat the mail man so I grabbed my supplies and went town!

Are you ready for an amazing sale?  SU has a HUGE deal coming up tomorrow!  September 23rd!

SO MUCH TO LOVE! Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machines.

 Hello Stampers!

Have you checked out the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machines?

There is SO MUCH TO LOVE!

So what sets Stampin' Up! machines apart from the rest?  Here are some of our favorite features:

*Durable machines with high-quality results.  The solid steel construction frame and rubber feet that secretly grip the work surface produce crisp, clean, precise cutting and beautifully detailed embossing.

*Easy to use.  The machines and tools are designed for an intuitive die-cutting and embossing experience.  For example, all plates are labeled with number and are color coded for easy reference and use when building your sandwich.  And just like the name suggests, our magnetic Cutting Plates have fully-magnetic surfaces to make it say to securely position your dies and keep them in place.

*Simple to Store.  The Platforms on both machines fold for space-saving storage and they look pretty too-the sleek, clean design suits any crafting space.

*Portable.  You can use both machines at home or on the go with their folding platforms and ergonomic carrying handles.

Retired Set Saturday~Spooktacular -Jar of Haunts- Bash!

Hello Stampers!

Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!

Today I am showcasing two Halloween sets!
Spooktacular Bash and
Jar of Haunts (I chose this one because of the Jar punch!)
DSP: Magic in this Night
Card Stock: Sheet of  Whisper White thick cut at 5 1/2 and scored at 2 1/8"
Using the leftover Whisper White stamp two jars and using the largest scalloped die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
Also a strip cut at 1" x 4 1/2" score at 1", 2" then turn and score at 1" again.
Attaching the strips: Fold on the score marks then glue the one inch to the Cardstock flap and other side to the bottom of the card base.  I marked the ends with an "X" on the image above.
I used the Jar punch to cut out the "Jars" from the Jar of Haunts.  It is smaller, but still fun to use!
Jar of Haunts Photopolymer stamp set.

Spooktacular Bash Cling Stamp set.

If you have one or both of these sets, I hope this project helps to spark a card or project idea!

Keep Calm and Stamp On!
