Perfect Candy Bar Box

Hi my crafty friends!
The project I am sharing with you today was a total accident.  LOL, I guess a true crafter should never say 'accident' but more like a work of art!  LOL
I was making up little boxes of one size, (one that will share with you later) and got my numbers all mixed up and ended up making this little cutie instead.

Box Recipe:
Card Stock size 8x8  (I used Pink Pirouette)
SCORE this at 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" and 7" turn and then score at 1" and 7"
CUT on the 1 inch score marks on the two ends.
FOLD all your score marks then use FAST FUSE on all the squares and fold up.

For the layers you will need  two 5 3/4" x 2 1/4", two 3/4" x5 3/4", and two 3/4" 2 1/4"  I used DSP Brights collection Rich Razzleberry.

Stamp Set: Petal Potpourri stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight. Then punched it out  with Flower Medallion Punch.  I made the leaves with the Build a Bird punch in Wild Wasabi.
I love the size of this box because a Hershey's candy bar fits perfectly inside!  You could give a couple of them in fact!
If you have any questions please let me know!

Berry Basket, LOVE IT!

Hello my crafty friends!
I am sorry I have not posted this week it seems like everything was happening at once and I could not get to the computer! LOL
Here is the project I wanted to share with you today.  It's a simple but oh, so cute basket! Using the Berry Basket Bigz Die.  It is so easy to put together that my 11 year old son made this one!

I used ribbon for the handle and it was wide enough to take baker's twine and tie the center so it makes a bow.  Then attach it with a few glue dots.  I can see why this item has been on back order so often!  It's so cute!!

Sweetheart basket!

Hi my crafty friends!
Here is a fun little heart basket I made.  I have seen patterns before for this but I wanted to make it a little bit different so after I played around with it awhile I came up with this.

You can simply right click and save the picture to save my pattern.

It is really simple to make.  I first started making these for my kids, then I decided to make them for my son's day care providers, and THEN after my daughter seen them she started making them for her friends.  LOL

I used Real Red, Strawberry Slush and  Raspberry Ripple (retired).

The stamp I used "A Sweet Tweet for You" is from the Hey, Valentine Stamp Set available in the Occasions catalog.  I simply stamped it and cut the picture in half.  Putting one side on the front and the other on the back.

Love Bug! Cricut card~

Hi my crafty friends!
Here is a cute little card I made, and I hope it has reached her house by now for my niece.  We both share a love of VW Bugs and when I seen this cute image in the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge I had to make it for her.
Her 1st car was my old VW Bug, by the time she was able to drive my family had totally outgrown it.  So I thought selling it to her would be the next best thing.

*Just incase you don't know, Stampin' Up does not sale any products for the Cricut,  I got this from CTMH.  It's a fun cartridge and I got it for Christmas and wow, I have a lot to learn about it!  I hope to share other crafts from there.

Have a great day!

CUTE Valentine Puppy card!

Hi my crafty friends!
Here is a super cute little craft you can make for anyone who loves an adorable little puppy!
Here is everything you'll need to make this puppy:
Punches: Sweet Heart, large oval, heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, and 1" circle punch, 1/4 circle punch.
Accessories
Card stock I used: Real Red- (one Sweet Heart punch, one small heart, and one Large Oval)
Very Vanilla- (One 2 to the largest heart Framelits)
Strawberry Slush- (2 1" circle punched out)
Basic Black-(2  1/4 circle punched out)
Blushing Bride-(largest heart Framelits, but the scalloped one.
Strawberry Slush Stampin' Write marker and White Gel Pen
2-Way Glue
Embossing folder (if you choose to emboss the ears)

First, using the Big Shot I cut out my card base with the largest heart after the scalloped one.  I left the point off the paper though so it can have a hinge.

Like this, it's kind of a cute butterfly shape!

Next, after I cute out my Very Vanilla heart Framelit, I embossed it using one of my dotted embossing folders.  Cut it in half and then glued them to the back of the card.

I then glued the two Strawberry Slush circles on the edge of the puppy face for cheeks and opened the card so I could trim and circles that over lapped.  To made the little tongue, I took the large Real Red oval cut it in half and I glued one to the inside, the other bit you can save for another puppy!

Finishing the face:  then you can glue the small Real Red heart on one side for a 'patch' then place a Basic Black 1/4 circle on top for an eye and place the other one across from it.  The Sweet Heart Real Red heart can be put right at the bottom of the card for his nose.  I added little 'freckles' with Strawberry Slush Stampin' Write markers, and white to the eyes and nose with the White Gel Pen.

That's it!  Isn't he cute!!

Have a great day!

Special Sunday Share~Super Bowl!!

Hi my crafty friends!
Here is my Super Bowl project I wanted to share!  These are made with the Curvy Keepsake die!  They are sooo easy to make and fun!
In the 1st picture my 2 year old son wanted to help so I let him glue on the 'laces'.  After we worked on that for what seems like forever and got more glue on the two of us then anything else I decided to use the White Gel Pen to draw on the laces.  That made it so much easier!   Good thing because my kids thought it would be fun to have friends come over and watch the game at our house.  So we got busy and made a whole lot more.  I filled them with Snickers mini bite size candy bars.
To make the white stripes I simply cut out crest shapes using the circle punch.  I chose Whisper White card stock, and I folded the paper over so they were exactly the same size on one side.
Then cut off any card stock that hung over.
Hope you enjoy the game tonight!  I think the kids and I are going to be watching it for the commercials, at least my girls and I will be the boys/guys will be watching the game.  No matter what it will be fun to be all together with friends and family!

Cheryl~
