Simply Sketched Birthday Cards

Hi Stampers!
Here are two samples of basically the same card just changing up the colors a little bit.  I needed to restock my birthday cards so here are two of them that I created. 

Simply Sketched stamp set is a retired Hostess Set but you can check out the latest stamp sets at my store.  www.stardust.stampinup.net

The card stock colors are Cherry Cobbler, Whisper white and Crumb Cake. I used the amazing new Blendabilities Markers in Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive to color in the flower, then topped it off with Dazzling Diamonds.

Simple Fall Fun Thanksgiving Card

Here is my first Thanksgiving card for the year!  I can't believe I have not made more but this month has brought a lot of surprises.

Pillow Mummy treat holder!

Hi Stampers! 
I wanted to share this super cute little mummy that my kids and I like to make every year. 
1. Using the Pillow box from Sizzix, I cut out a simple pillow box from VERY VANILLA card stock. 
2. I used SOFT SEUDE ink and a sponge to go around the edges.
3.Tear small pieces of card stock and sponge the edges then lay using FAST FUSE stick the card stock on your pillow box.
4.Using the paper snips cut away the extra card stock hanging over the edge of the pillow box. 
5. Using the fun OWL PUNCH, I used the two
largest circles to make the eyes using BASIC BLACK and WHISPER WHITE card stock. I adhered them with the TWO WAY GLUE.
That's it!  You are done!  It's a super fun and easy project, and if you have kids, they will enjoy tearing and inking up the paper!  Mine sure did!

Halloween Coffin Treat Box!

 Hi Stampers!
Isn't this cute?  For the past few years I have made some sort of coffin for a Halloween treat holder.  I got this super cute pattern from Martha Stewart's site.  I have direct links below so you can make your own!  What is also fun with this pattern, you can shrink it and make different sizes!  The first year I found this pattern I shrank them down to make them small enough to hold a 'snack size' candy bar.  My daughter, at the time in 2nd grade and I made 34 of them for her class and friends.  It was fun!

Lil' Frankie Treat cover!

Hi Crafty Friends! 

Here he is!!  Lil' Frankie!  I wanted to make a Frankenstein for Halloween and I finally decided on this one.  I wasn't sure which green I wanted to use, so I used three of them, you can choose which one looks the best! 
I used the CURLY LABEL punch along with just a regular hole punch for the eyes. 
Stampin' Up does offer a 1/4" CIRCLE punch.
-Stampin' Write Marker to fill in the eyes and smile. 
-Old Olive card stock
-Mossy Meadow card stock
-Garden Green card stock
-Basic Black card stock
