Happy Fall PP412 challenge!

Hello Stampers!

Today, I have a fun Card Sketch challenge to share from The Paper Players!
I chose a diagonal Tic-Tac-Toe challenge from the top left, starting with LEAVES, PUMPKIN and SEQUINS/GLITTER.
I dug out some of my old stamps from Hero Arts, Great Impressions and of course Stampin' Up!
I added color with Bic Markers this time.  They worked perfectly.
Popped up the layers with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I fussy cut out the pumpkins, gourd and acorn.  Added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins from SU.
The Retired SU stamp set is called Autumn Harvest.  One of my favorite sets.
Card Stock used: Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green.
DSP All Is Bright
Ink: Memento Black

Thank you for joining me today!  Make sure to head over to the Paper Players blog so you can check out all the creative ideas from other stampers!!

Thanks for believing in me!

Hello Stampers!
Sometimes you just don't know what to say in a card but then you find the perfect stamp that says it all!
I found this stamp going through all of my stamps, I know this is a crusher, but I have no idea who made it.  It is not a Stampin' Up! stamp.  I believe it's from the Annie's Closet collection but not 100% sure.  I teamed it up with the Country Livin' stamp set to create this masculine card.
It's in a "Z" Fold form but the trimmed it a little bit so it didn't have the flap.
I colored it using the Real Red Stampin' Write Markers and added color to the wood and grass with Watercolor Pencils.

Thank you for joining me today.

It's April!!

Hello my creative friends!
Happy new month to you!  It's already April. WOW!  Sale-a-Bration is now over and we only have a little while longer with the Occasions Catalog!

With a new month comes a new Christmas Card Challenge!
This month's challenge was to create a card with creatures, I picked this stamp I had from Penny Black, Ink. along with the sentiment from Great Impressions.
The background and card stock is from Stampin' Up!  The hearts background came from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack.  So cute!!  Real Red, Whisper White and Garden Green make a perfect color combo.  I added a little Wink of Stella to the Snowman.  You can kind of see it in the photo, although a picture can never do it justice!

Here is the LINK to see my card on Splitcoaststampers.

Thank you for stopping by today.
Happy Stampin'!

New Month...New Christmas Card Challenge to share!

Hello Stampers!
It's March!  I get to share my monthly Christmas Challenge project with you.
I used a stamp from STAMPENDOUS! and Stampin' Up!.  Used Gold Embossing powder with Versa Mark and heat set it.
I love the Gold Embossing powder, and how it makes the poinsettias pop!  I used Bic Markers to add color.  Then added Noel from the Christmas Pines stamp set, with Black StazOn ink.

Thank you for stopping by today, if you want more creative ideas, make sure to check out my Splitcoaststampers gallery too!  There are some projects on there that I have not shared on here.

**Don't forget this is the LAST month for the Sale-a-Bration catalog!  You can check out the catalog on the right side of this page and see the latest items added HERE!   Please let me know if you have any questions.

Have a great day and fun month!

Christmas Card Challenge for January!

Hello Stampers!
Ok, YES, I know Christmas is over but I have entered a Christmas Card Challenge.  For every month we have a theme to try and follow and create cards for Christmas, which it NEVER hurts to be ahead of the game.  This way hopefully I won't be racing to get a few more done!
January theme is sleds, sleighs or ski's.  I dug through my old (1999) stamps and found this one!  I have not stamped with this one for years.  It's a good one to bring back out and play around with.
The Stamp:  From, Northwoods Rubber Stamps, Inc.
Coloring: Jet Black StazOn ink, Sharpie and Bic markers.
Accessories:  The Art Glittering System in Christmas Opaque and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Pacific Point, and Whisper White.

You can see this and other fun creations on my Splitcoast Stampers site HERE!

Don't forget to check out the great offers Stampin' Up has during Sale-a-Bration!

Thank you for stopping by!
If you have any questions about this or other projects please let me know.

Penguin Pencil Toppers

Hi Stampers!
So glad you could join me today.  I hope you are staying warm from where ever you are!  Seems like everyone is in a deep freeze!  Brrr!

I would like to share a project my daughter and I made for her classmates.
The stamp is not Stampin' Up!
It's from Great Impressions I found at a cute little store while traveling through North Dakota.
In pretzel bags we put two pencils, an eraser and sharpener.  It's a useful gift for her classmates other than candy all the time.  I do want to say Stampin' Up! does offer the 'pretzel' size bags, I just had these on hand.  :)

Thank you for joining me today.
Have a STAMPendous day!

Hello my stamping friends!
I wanted to share a neat stamp set I found at Michael's.

It's by Hero Arts and is photopolymer.  Love it!
Card stock is Basic Gray and Basic Black from Stampin' Up along with a layer of DSP in Neutrals.
Stamped in Smoky Slate.  I popped the layer up on dimensionals.

I just love going to Michael's craft store.  I can always find new projects for my kids and I to enjoy.

For the Bride and Groom~wedding card

Hello Stampers!
Thank you for joining me today.  Here is my project share for today!
Wedding bells will be ringing!  We have several summer weddings this year that we are invited to.  I knew if I didn't get started on these now, it would be time to go and I wouldn't have any made up!  LOL
It seems like as soon as summer vacation is here...it's gone!  LOL

The flowers are from the Bloomin' Love stamp set with the matching Thinlits, Bloomin' Heart.
The sentiment is from Great Impressions.

Have a great day!

Gift Card Candy box Tutorial~by Cheryl

Hello Stamping friends!
Hope your day is going well for you.  We are finally getting some much needed rain here in NE MT! With the fires to the North of us in Canada, I know we all could use a good soaking!  I pray our summer is not all hot, and full of fires.  I hope it's balanced with rain and sun!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you how I create these fun Gift Card candy boxes!
First you will want to cut your card stock down to 9 3/4"x 7"
Score the longest side at 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2" 4 1/2" and 7"
Turn and score at 1" on both sides
Cut down both sides of the 1" score sides, cut off the smallest bit and the two larger bits so it looks like this.
Fold it up on the score marks then take the Window Punch (retiring!!!) and make a window on the first section after the smallest scored piece.
Cut the DSP of your choice to these sizes.
1-4 1/2" x 2 1/4"
1-1 1/4" x  3 1/2" -(white piece for stamped image)
4- 7/8" x 4 3/4"
Attach with Snail then cut out the window, (I don't like cutting through card stock and DSP but if you want to save a step go for it!
Before adhering the box together you will want to use the 1" circle punch to cut out a notch to pull out the card, on the right side of your box. I used Hersey's Kisses for the 'treat' to go along with the gift card.
Decorate your front as desired, I made this one for Teacher's appreciation week!

There you have it!  If you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you for joining me today!

Love...it's in the Air Card~ Valentine Count Down

Hello Stampers!
I am having so much fun with the New Stampin' Up! stamp set, Bloomin' Love (available in the Occasions catalog)
I was working on my kids' school scrap book and came across this awesome card stock!  I just love the hearts.  What is kind of funny is the paper pack I got this from is a school theme!   It's from DCWV The Homeroom stack.
I thought the stamp, "(heart)...it's in the air" was perfect to go along with this card stock.
I just love the way it turned out.  Not only for a Valentine's day card, but I thought it would make a nice engagement card.

Thank you for joining me today!
If you have any questions regarding this or any other project I would love to help you out!

Happy New Year! 2016!!

Hello stampers!
Happy New Year!
I really enjoyed the Hostess Set Antique Labels from the Holiday Catalog.  This is another stamp from that set.  The Clock is from Great Impressions.
I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the card but you can't see it real well. Just love that stuff!
I thought the bright colors in the DSP Cherry On Top paper pack made for a great New Year's card back ground.  Like confetti.  If your house was like mine, the kids (and big kid) loved popping confetti poppers!  I know what the people feel like who have to clean up New York's Times Square now!   ha-ha

Don't forget The Year End Sales Event ends January 4th!  Don't forget to check it out!
HEAD ON OVER TO MY ONLINE STORE!

Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you have a wonderful 2016!!
