You Are Amazing Project Kit~

Hello Stampers!

Hope you had a good weekend full of crafting time!  I was able to get together with family and put together some fun cards from the Are You Amazing Project Kit!

I also teamed this set up with the Free Sale-a-bration set, Approaching Perfection.  I stamped the insides of the cards with this set and one set of cards with "happy birthday".  The outside of the rest of the cards were stamped with the You Are Amazing stamp set.

Stampin' Up has several kits to choose from in the Annual or Occasions catalog. I chose this one being I knew I wanted to create cards for our church "thinking of you card box".

I really enjoyed the bright colors in this kit.  The instructions are simple to follow or you can create your cards with the plentiful supplies.

Banner Thanks card~

Happy Birthday Bubble card~ I chose to add Granny Apple Green ribbon rather than the baker's twine included in the set.

Happy Birthday flowers card~

This kit created 16 cards, if you chose to, you could use the front and backs of the card as a DSP and create 32 cards!

It comes with matching envelopes and a box to hold all your finished cards.

 Hello Stampers!

Do you want a stamp and a die that you can use to create several cards with?  Stampin' Up has you covered!

 Many Messages Bundle!

Use the Stamparatus for a perfect image every time!  How?  When you stamp your image, if it's not stamped clear simply reink the stamp and stamp again.

With the magnets holding your paper it won't move so you get a crisp image!

When you are ready for new piece of paper, just line up your paper and replace the magnets.  You can easily clean off the stamp with the Simply Shammy or baby wipes.

Stamp in several colors then run them through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine to have a bucket full of sentiments ready to embellish any card!

Paper Pumpkin World's Greatest~Alternatives #paperpumpkinworldsgreatest

 Hello Stampers!

I finally got to my Paper Pumpkin, World's Greatest!

I liked their layouts but I also came up with some alternatives I wanted to share.
I am always in the need for birthday cards so three of them I decided to do birthday cards with, the 'award' I made that a teacher card, and the 'ribbon metal' I just made a basic congratulations.
On this one I added strips of Pacific blue to the card base from the kit.
The second of this style  I used Whisper White Thick card base, next layered a 1/4 inch smaller than an A-2 Card base Pacific blue and then cut strips from the card base from the kit and attached as shown.  The Pacific Point really popped when it was layered right on the card base from the kit, what do you think?
Next two projects I made pretty much like the sample showed.  I like having plenty of 'teacher' cards.  Not just for school, but for Sunday school, hunting safety instructor, anyone who has taught you something new and fun!
Finally, the shaker card just had to be a birthday card!  I used past Paper Pumpkin and Stampin' Up stamps to create this card!

Retired Set Saturday~Tassel Time

Hello Stampers!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!

As it gets close to graduation I have been asked to create cards, so that is what I have started to do!  The stamp sets I usually fall back on are retired, so YAY it's Retired Set Saturday!  Tassel Time!
Our school colors here in town are orange and black!  I picked out Whisper White, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie card stock.
I also added some retired Orange Glimmer paper and Wink of stella to the scroll.
If you have this set, bring it out, time to get creative!

Remember stay calm and stamp on!

Thank you for joining me today!
Happy Stampin'!

Graduation Gift Card Holder

Hello Stampers!
Happy Monday to you.  Did you get a lot of yard work done this weekend?  It was supposed to rain all weekend but it only rained a little bit in our area.  I wish it had rained more but I am glad of what we got!

Here is my project share for today.
Graduation, graduation, graduation!  Seems like so many of the children I knew as little preschoolers are now graduating!

Beautiful You photopolymer stamp set was what I used for the front of these graduation cards.

I created four of this style with different side stamps.  I sent off the one I created for my niece and forgot to grab a photo of it, I used all current stamps on hers, however this one, the sentiment is no long current, it's from the Bravo photopolymer stamp set.
To add color I used Stampin' Blends Basic Black, Granny Apple Green, and Petal Pink and Light Mango.  To make the diploma I curled a small bit of paper around my Paper-piercer and tied it with black crochet thread.
The card base is a standard 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 Basic Black
Scored at 2 1/4" and 5 1/2"
Whisper White (regular) for the inside layer cut 1/4 smaller than each panel.
Graduation hat, I simply cut a square and then cut it at an angle, used black floss for the tassel.

Happy Stampin'!

Paper Pumpkin~Sentimental Rose

Hello Stampers!

I wanted to share the wonderful Paper Pumpkin kit I got for April.
Sentimental Rose.
This kit was simply wonderful!  It's designed to give it as a gift! With Mother's day coming I thought this would be the perfect gift to give to my mom.
There are enough materials to create nine note cards PLUS an acetate container!
I stamped this one with Congratulations, you could use it for an engagement, wedding or graduation.
Beautiful birthday cards.
Lovely thank you notes too!
I stamped the envelopes on the bottom corner with the beautiful rose stamped in Gray Granite.  The inside of the envelopes are lined with matching colors of each card.
When it's all finished there is a corrugated white wrap to go around the clear box and image to go on the outside.

This Paper Pumpkin kit has outdone itself!  How can it get better?  Shelli!  Shelli Gardner Co-founder and Board Chair gets to help design May's Paper Pumpkin!

Happy Retirement!

Hello Stampers!
Have you checked out the fun under the sea stamp set, Sea of Textures?
You are going to love it!
This stamp set comes in a bundle with matching framelits dies, Under the Sea Framelits Dies.
This beautiful card was created with Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana cardstock.  The octopus was stamped with Vera Mark and heat embossed in black embossing powder.
Images were stamped over the sponged Bermuda Bay.  It looks so beautiful!

Senior Cheer Squad gift bags!

Hello Stampers!
Happy Friday to you!  This week has flown by, we have already zoomed through one whole week in February.
I have a sentimental project for you today.  My daughter has four girls in her cheer squad that are graduating this year and she wanted me to create a bag for them to hold some goodies from her and her team.
This is what I came up with.
Our school colors are Black and Orange so I used Black Glimmer paper and some retired Orange Glimmer paper to cut out sparkly numbers and word, "Seniors".   I used a retired stamp set to create the basketball images on the side of each bag, in Basic Black, and Craft White.

I found the adorable paw print ribbon on Amazon! (Always a great last minute shopping place!)  I used Two-Way glue to adhere the letters and to stick the whole bag together solidly.

Thank you for joining me today!
Happy Stampin'!
