Retired Set Saturday~Celebrate Today

Hello Stampers!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!  Today I am showcasing the stamp set, Celebrate Today!

Our Graduation is only a week away!  I had to get busy with some Wild Cat pride cards, orange and black!  This year there are 17 children graduating including my daughter! 

Ink: Pumpkin Pie and Black Memento Ink. 
Card Stock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White.

Get Well~Thoughtful Blooms

Hello Stampers!
Can you believe we are almost half way through April already?  I hope you and your family are all safe and healthy.  If you are or know someone who has COVID-19, I hope they get to feeling better very soon.

With that in mind, here is my card share for today.

The Sale-a-bration stamp set, Thoughtful Bloms with matching Small Bloom Punch were used to create this fun Get Well card. 

Starburst and Circle Punch were used for the sentiment. 

Ink colors: Pineapple Punch, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue
Card Stock: Whisper White, Balmy Blue, and Gorgeous Grape.

Ghoul Friends Forever!

Hello Stampers!
Question, do you need a card in a snap?  Use DSP to help design your card.  Here is my Quick Card share for today using DSP!

Monster Bash DSP is perfect for a quick Halloween card!
I used the 2" Circle punch to cut out the Pumpkin Pie Card Stock then use the Starburst Punch to cut out the two Ghoul friends!

Stamped the sentiment from Spooktacular Bash stamp set, on Whisper White then using the Ornate Frames Dies cut it out using my Big Shot.  Layered Mango Melody on Basic Black cardstock then added the top layer of Monster Bash DSP.

Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat~

Hello Stampers!

This week in my preschool class we are celebrating Dr. Seuss!  His birthday was March 2nd but I have dedicated this week to him and all his creative books.

With Dr. Seuss in mind I created these fun cards!

Cat in the Hat of course!  It's his signature with out using his name.  You can always identify who it is.

I made one with the hat on the cat's head.

Then I had to be silly and put it on the cat's tail!

 The sentiment was printed off my computer on Whisper White card stock (regular not thick).

Materials used to create this FUN-tasic card:
Nine Lives Photopolymer stamp set and I got the hat from the Best Bunny Photopolymer stamp sets.
Card stock: Whisper White regular (for printing) and Thick for card, Lovely Lipstick.  Real Red Stampin' Blends, Starburst Punch and 2" Circle punch.

I used the Starburst and Circle Punch for the sentiment then popped it up on dimensionals.

Retired Set Saturday & FMS #369~Happy Heart Day

Hello Stampers!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Today I am showcasing Happy Heart Day.  This is also my entry for FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES #369.

My main colors are Melon Mambo and Whisper White.

Here is their sketch challenge.

I used Watercolor pencils, Blender Pen and Stampin' Write Melon Mambo marker to add color. 

Starburst punch was used to cut out the cute little mouse. 

How Sweet it is DSP from the current Occasions catalog was used for the background and Melon Mambo strip.

Happy Monday to you.  Another week closer to Halloween!  If you have children or grandchildren I am sure they are getting super excited about Halloween. I know my class and my own children are!

Here is my project share for today.  I have a Halloween card to share.
