So Hoppy for Spring!

Hello Stampers!
So glad you could stop by today.  I have a fun spring card to share with you today.
So Hoppy Together Sale-a-bration stamp set.

Card Stock: Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White.
Marbled Background stamp stamped in Balmy Blue ink was used for my pond.

I used the special release framelits, Hop Around along with the Big Shot to cut out the flies, frogs and pond shapes for my card.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative~part 2

Hello Stampers!
So glad you could join me again today.  I have another Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin kit Alternative to share.

Trying to clear out my last year's kits that I had not used up I decided to use this kit once again.  I really like how these turned out!

Growing up around our own horses and in the beautiful mountains right outside of Yellowstone National Park I hope you can see why.

The stamp set used with this kit was Let it Ride.
Color was added to the sky and ground with the Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. 
Trees and grass right under the horses was the Old Olive dark, horses were colored with Soft and dark Suede Blender Pens.

Your Kindness means so much~Powder Pink Painted Harvest

Hello Stampers!
It's getting close to retirement time once again! 
The 2017-2018 In-colors will be retiring at the end of May.

Here is my project share for today.  I used the pretty Powder Pink.

I had just reinked my pad so the color was nice and dark.  I stamped off the first layer and then the second flower stamp of the Painted Harvest Photopolymer stamp set I stamped full ink.

I just had to add a little Wink of Stella to add a fun shimmer!  The leaves were stamped in Soft Sea Foam, dots stamped in Crumb Cake.
Card stock: Powder Pink, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

The Good Things in Life~Incredible Like You card

Hello Stampers!

I have a lovely project to share with you today, using the Incredible Like You Kit from the Occasions catalog.

I know I have said it before when I shared a project from this kit, but I will say it again, I like this kit, it's a lot like Paper Pumpkin!

I liked the juicy oranges so I used that layer to create a card.  I used the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration set, Lasting Lily.

The sentiment was the only item not included in the kit.  They even include glue dots and dimensionals to adhere the project together.

Happy Monday to you!  Hope it's starting to act like spring in your neck of the woods. We are on the countdown to the actual day spring arrives.  I am glad to be rid of the below zero temps, however I am not looking forward to the dumb bugs.  ick! 

With the thought of spring, going outside and enjoying the nicer weather, here is my project share for today.

Retired Set Saturday~Showcasing Cool Treats and Year Round Fun II

Hello Stampers!
There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!

I am showcasing two sets today, Cool Treats Photopolymer stamp set and Year Round Fun II.

With a little bit of Irish sparkle added to the yummy popsicles this card is a fun St. Patrick's day treat!

Card base: Whisper White and Granny Apple Green.
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake.

St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun from the Cookie Cutter Christmas

Hello Stampers!

I have a fun St. Patrick's Day card to share with you today!

I have a small bit of Irish in my blood and I take that very seriously.
I wanted to create a Leprechaun from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Photopolymer stamp set, but I couldn't figure out what to do about the hat other than create it out of cardstock but when I made the Cat in the Hat card,  I noticed the ADORABLE hat in the Best Bunny Photopolymer stamp set, ooooh the creative juices were flowing!

Card Stock: Basic Black, Mango Melody, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green
DSP: Gingham Gala

Used the Buffalo Check background stamp-stamped in Black Memento Ink.
Yummy candy from the Sweetest Thing Photopolymer stamp set and matching Jar of Sweets Framelits.

Added Wink of Stella to the candy cut out with the Big Shot.

I also fussy cut some of the DSP with the rainbow candy.  After all, what's a leprechaun without a rainbow?

Paper Pumpkin Alternative~ Teamed up with Best Catch!

Hello Stampers!

I have a Paper Pumpkin alternative to share with you today.  I was going through my kits and found I had not used up all of my "Manly Moments" Paper Pumpkin kit.  I teamed it up with Best Catch and created some fun birthday and Father's day cards!

Bringing out my trusty Big Shot, I used the matching framelits, Catch of the Day.
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede.

Used Water Color Pencils and Blender pens to add color to the fish. 

To the cat tails I added color to the stocks with a Stampin' Write Marker in Old Olive then used a non-Stampin' Up product I had purchased years ago at Hobby Lobby.  It's called Fun Flock.
Stamped the fishing basket in Early Espresso on Soft Suede.

For the Moments you can't put into words.

Hello Stampers!
Happy Monday to you!   It's supposed to be sunny today, I hope it starts to melt some of our snow. 

With Spring just around the corner I grabbed my Butterfly Gala stamp set to create a card for a dear friend going through a tough time.

I just love the bright colors in the Gingham Gala DSP.  Here is used the Lemon Lime Twist in both card stock and DSP.

Card Stock: Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black

Cut out the beautiful butterflies with the Butterfly Duet Punch.  The sentiment is stamped and layered on ovals cut from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  For the last step I added a few Gingham Gala Adhesive-backed Sequins.

Wild and Free

Hello Stampers!

Here is my project share for today.

Growing up around horses I just absolutely adore the Let it Ride stamp set.

Centered the horse on Whisper White and layered on Basic Black.  Layering Ovals were used to create the pretty layers.

Early Espresso Card was used with the Wooden Planks Embossing Folder to add the wooden texture.  I just love this folder.  DSP and Burlap Ribbon was used on the lower half of the card.  Card base Crumb Cake.
