A Stary Christmas~ Christmas count down, card 4

Hi Stampers!  Here is a super simple card I made using the smallest star from the Star Framelits.  I used the sentiment from Ornamental Pine.   I also used the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Card stock used: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Garden Green, Early Espresso and Whisper White.  The fun Designer Series Paper I used is from for the HOLIDAY CATALOG called Trim the Tree Series Paper Stack.

I'm Thankful For......

 Hi Stampers!
I just love this stamp offered in the Holiday Catalog.  It's a simple stamp but holds so much meaning.  I made these simple flat cards to have everyone who attends my sister's Thanksgiving   dinner (she is hosting this year, yay!) fill out and then we'll pin them up on her board she has in her dining room using the cute little Mini Metallic Clothespins and Metallic Baker's Twine in Gold.  It will be a fun way to get to know everyone plus share what we are thankful for this year. 
"Thanks to the good Lord for everyday we get to be on this ol' planet", that is what my Grandma would say to me just about every time I got off the phone with her.  I am thankful for special memories I can pass on down to my kids!  I am also thankful for you.  :)

Thankful for you~4 Feathers

Hi Stampers!
I finally gave in and got this stamp set!  I didn't know if I would use it or not, but it's so much fun!  I got the bundle and saved 15%!  (Awesome!) I really liked the way this card turned out. 
I used the textured embossing folder Wood grain on the Whisper White card stock, using Early Espresso ink I sponged over it lightly. Then placed it on top of my card base of Early Espresso card stock.  I stamped the smallest feathers also using the Early Espresso ink followed by a large feather in Early Espresso card stock and Gold Glimmer paper.  I added a simple bow from the linen thread.  The sentiment is from the Hostess set Good Greetings only available in October.

Believe~Christmas count down! card 3

Hi stampers!
Here is a delicate and simple card I made using the Northern Flurry embossing folder #120902
The card stock colors I used are SMOKY SLATE, WHISPER WHITE and SOFT SKY, also the color of the ink I used.  The Stamp set is from 2013 Holiday catalog but is still available while supplies last.  You can find the embossing folder and card stock HERE!

Here is a fun Thanksgiving card I made with part of the supplies from this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The stamp, Feathers and Linen thread, are from the kit.  I added Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and a retired piece of DSP.  The best part is, you can order the Paper Pumpkin refill kit and get those supplies.

Wetlands Masculine card

Hi Stampers!
Here is another sample of a card I made restocking my birthday cards!  I sometimes have a difficult time finding stamp sets I like to use to make masculine cards.  The Wetlands Stamp set is perfect for men or woman!  It's a fun set! 
The colors I used are WHISPER WHITE, CRUMB CAKE, and CHOCOLATE CHIP.  I colored it with the Stampin' Write makers in CRUMB CAKE, BAKED BROWN SUGAR and PEAR PAZZAZZ.  These are all still available and you can pick there up at my STORE!

Here is a fun card I made while looking for projects to do for my preschool class!  I always get side tracked when I see something pretty!  LOL   I got this one from Dawn Griffith!  She is so creative! I used a different stamp set and changed it up a little bit but I think it turned out pretty.

Fall/Winter 2014 Workshops and Stamp camps!

Holiday workshop
When?  November 18th 5:30pm

I am hosting a Holiday workshop to demonstrate some of the fun items from the  HOLIDAY CATALOG . Plus, you get to make a beautiful Christmas card!  The workshop is FREE but I do ask that you RSVP.  You are also welcome to bring a friend!  Please contact me for more information.

 

Christmas Card Stamp Camp!

When?  December 13th

What you get to make:  You get to make 15 fabulous cards, 5 of each design, plus envelopes you can also decorate.  Also, I am adding 2 3-D projects!

Cost:

When you RSVP I make sure everything is precut and ready for you to stamp and build your cards.  The whole class only costs $20.00 or FREE with a $50.00 order placed BEFORE but no more than two weeks before the class date. If you have to cancel, $5.00 of which is nonrefundable.  You will need to bring your own scissors and adhesive.  If you do not have adhesive I will have some available you can purchase for $7.00 or you can rent for $4.50. 

 

Junior Christmas Stamp Camp!

When?  December 20th 1:00pm to 3:00pm

What do they get to make?

Each child gets to make 4-6 (depends on what your child wants to make) plus envelopes and 1 3-D project.

Cost:  The cost of the class is $15.00 per child and this includes the price of adhesive. 

**AGE LIMIT**  I am setting an age limit of the class to 9 years old.  They should be able to stamp, cut and use a glue runner by themselves.  Parents can drop off their child (do some last minute shopping!) and pick them up after class! 

 

Stamp-a-Stack

When? February 7th 1pm to 4pm

What we'll be making? 14 fabulous all occasion cards!  Starting with birthday (2 of each design for a total of 6), anniversary (2) sympathy (2) and of course Valentine's day cards (4 on one design).

Plus 1 3-D craft to keep or give to someone special!

Walk in the Wild birthday card!

Here is a few more cards I made to restock my birthday stash!  I really like the WALK IN THE WILD stamp set.  It's a really nice stamp set to make masculine cards with.  I know I have made a card like this one before but I changed the direction on it, I think it really makes a difference on how the card looks, what you do think?
