Hi Stampers!
Here are a few fun, and sparkly cards I wanted to share with you. 

Card Recipe:
The Stamp sets are both retired, but you can use any greeting on this card.  It is says "CELEBRATE" to me, so you can celebrate anything!  :)
Card Stock:  Whisper White
Accessories:
Gold Glimmer Paper,
Dazzling Dimonds Glitter
Jet Black Stazon ink
Refill ink for Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, and Garden Green
Stars Framelits
Stampin' Dimensionals
2-Way Glue

**For those who have not colored Dazzling Diamonds Glitter....IT'S SO MUCH FUN!  You can match your paper you are using plus give a sparkly shine to any paper!
I put a small amount of DD glitter in a small container, (I used an extra medicine measuring cup).  Add a few drops or to your liking of the refill ink and mix it together with a popsicle stick or you could use a plastic spoon, I just happen to have one on my craft table.  Mix it well and then let it dry.  I then cut the stars out and simply use the 2-Way glue to make the glitter stick.  It's THAT easy!

This is how the birthday card turned out. I think they both look fun!

Jiffy Pop Popcorn Snowman!

Hi Crafty Friends!
Here is a fun little gift I made for several friends and family members.  It is super easy to make and cute! 
What you need: 
1 Jiffy Pop Popcorn
 Whisper White, Basic Black, and Pumpkin Pie card stock. 
Ribbon of your choice, I used Cherry Cobbler
White Gel Pen
Glue Dots
Punches, 1" circle, 3/4" circle and I used the triangle from the Petite Pennants Builder punch

I just made a pattern for the black hat and traced a circle that would fit the cover of the pan.  Punched out 5, 3/4" circles and 2, 1" circles.  Then one orange triangle.  I added just a little white to the eyes and nose. I stuck them all one with the fabulous Glue Dots.

Thank You~Letterpress Winter

Hi Stampers!
It's time....we have all received a gift or two that we really enjoyed, so now it's time to start on the Thank you notes.  I made these with the Letterpress Winter stamp set (available in the Holiday Catalog only until January 5th).  I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock down to 7 x 4 1/2 and stamped the decretive frame in Garden Green and stamped Thank you in Real Red.  I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with the 2 Way Glue to the dots.  It's a super simple card, but sometimes it's the simple things that matter the most!

Merry Christmas! Last card in Christmas count down for 2014

Hi Stampers!
Merry Christmas!  I hope you are having a wonderful day.  Ours is coming to an end but has been packed full of wonderful memories. I wanted to share one last card with you that I needed to make for a special friend to fit a gift card.  Not the plastic kind, but the large paper print out certificate. 

I used the stamp set Ornamental Pine, which is only available until January 5th in the Holiday Catalog!  Stamped in Cherry Cobbler, Hello Honey and Real Red along with Garden Green and basic black.  The card stock is Whisper White and Real Red.  I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the Ornament to add the fun shinny look!

Magic Reindeer food

Hi Crafters!  I just had to toss this one in for the kids or the kids at heart!  I always make some kind of reindeer food with my kids.  This year we made these little packages to give away and I also made some for the craft show this year to sell (which was a HUGE hit!)  The bags are the 1"x8" bags in the Annual Catalog, #124134.  I just love these little bags, you can stick so many little treats in them! 

I found the cute little reindeer picture on line, I did a Google search and then printed it and this poem on the computer:

Magic Reindeer Food
Just sprinkle on the lawn at night.
The moon will make it sparkle bright.
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
this treat will guide them to your home!

Mini Holiday Gift Box

Hi Stampers!
I wanted to share these cute little boxes I made....with help from my two year old son for his Day Care providers.  I used the Gift Box Punch Board and a 6x6 piece of Under the Tree Specialty DSP.  Follow the directions on the board to make a box but I skipped the step of notching the corners to be able to close it.  Instead I used Glue Dots to fold it open.  Added a personalized note from the computer punched out with the Note Tag Punch and another one in either Real Red or Old Olive card stock and tied with coordinating Bakers' Twine.  The little bottle is bubble bath from Avon!  I just love those cute little bottles, they fit perfectly in the mini boxes!

Holiday Cheer~Christmas count down card number 12!

Hi Stampers!
Here is another fun card I made using the Mingle All the Way Stamp Set.  I added a piece of DSP from the Trim the Tree paper Stack.  Then layered Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card stock.  The Silver 1/4 inch ribbon on the bottom adds just enough sparkle to set the Dazzling Diamonds details aglow!

Holiday Happy! Card 11 in the Christmas Count down!

Hi Stampers!
Here is a fun little card I made using the Stamp Set, Mingle All the Way from the Holiday Catalog. 
I hadn't really played around with this stamp set but after I decided to use it and then add color with the Blender Pen it was fun!  I added Dazzling Details Cherry Cobbler to the red berries to add a little sparkle to the card.  What's Christmas without a little sparkle? 
The card base is Whisper White with a piece to stamp on and a 1/4 inch larger piece of Real Red card stock. 
Ink- Black Stazon
Ink pads for using the Blender Pen, Real Red and Pear Pizzazz.

Winter Scrapbook page

Hi Stampers!
Here is my winter Scrapbook page I keep forgetting to post! 
My picture is dark but it's really a pretty page.  I used Whisper White for the base and added All is Calm Specialty DSP with coordinating matching colors, Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon.  With a splash of Silver foil, Silver glimmer paper and Lost Lagoon ribbon.  I cut the ovals with the Ovals Framelits.  The Snowflake is from  the Letterpress Winter Stamp set.

Mingle all the Way~ Christmas count down card 10!

 Here is the project I wanted to share with you today! I just love the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green in the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack in the HOLIDAY CATALOG!  I was looking through it and when I seen these two patterns I just had to use them in my next card.

Christmas Stamp Camp Projects! Cards 7, 8 and 9 in the Christmas Count Down!

Hi Stampers! 

Here are the fun projects we made at our Christmas Stamp Camp on 12-13-14!
The stamp sets used were:  Mingle all the Way, Get Your Santa On, and Ornamental Pine.

The 3-D projects turned out so cute!  We used the Curvy Keepsake box Thinlits and Gift Box Punch Board.  It was so much fun! 

**  Keep your eye out for the next Stamp-a-Stack class in February.  We will be stamping all occasion cards plus a few Valentines' day.**

Embossing Powder & Brayer Technique~

Hi Stampers!  I wanted to share a fun little technique using the brayer and embossing powder.

 
1st what I did was take a piece of Whisper white card stock, I used the Embossing Buddy first, (love this little bag!) and rubbed it over the paper to make sure the embossing powder did not stick. 
2nd I stamped snowflakes using the Versa Mark stamp pad and covered it with white embossing powder and then heat set it.

 
3rd I took two colored inks, Island Indigo and Costal Cabana, I ran my brayer over one side of the ink pad for half of the roller and the other colored ink for the other side of the roller.  Then I rolled it over the paper moving it fast back and forth until the ink was blended and off the roller.  I turned the paper and did another corner the same way. 

4th I took a tissue or napkin and wiped off the extra ink on the snowflakes.  It also helps to blend the colors together a little bit more. 

I took Costal Cabana  as my card base and Whisper White Card Stock to layer my card.

I added the sentiment from the Merry Everything stamp set and punched it out using the Note Tag punch.

And that's it!  That is how fun and easy it is to add color to your paper using embossing powder and the brayer.  Here is another sample of the same inks used but with the Pacific Point card stock.

Christmas Stamp Camp!

Four Feathers

Hi Stampers!
I had found some feathers in a drawer and wanted to some how make it work with the Four Feathers stamp set in the HOLIDAY CATALOG.  This is what I came up with. 
I used white embossing powder on Lost Lagoon card stock and tied it with the satin Lost Lagoon ribbon.  Pretty simple card but looks really pretty.  The sentiment is from the Trust God stamp set available in the ANNUAL CATALOG.

Tree Punch-Merry Christmas card!, Christmas Count Down card 6

Hi Stampers! 
I wanted to use the fun Tree Punch without the coordinating stamp set, Festival of Trees.  This is what I came up with.  I used the Nordic Noel DSP from the Holiday catalog.  The sentiment is from the Merry Everything stamp set.  To bring out each layer, I popped up each one with the Stampin' Dimensionals.  The Whisper White card stock was ran through the Textured Boutique using the Lucky Stars Textured embossing folder and placed on the card base of Real Red.

Here is a fun little card my daughter and I made for her pen pal in Okinawa, Japan.
The card stock used: is from Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper, Whisper White and Real Red
Sentiment stamp used is from the Project Life Holiday Cheer Photopolymer set. Plus Real Red 1/4 ribbon to finish it off.

A Stary Christmas~ Christmas count down, card 4

Hi Stampers!  Here is a super simple card I made using the smallest star from the Star Framelits.  I used the sentiment from Ornamental Pine.   I also used the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Card stock used: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, Garden Green, Early Espresso and Whisper White.  The fun Designer Series Paper I used is from for the HOLIDAY CATALOG called Trim the Tree Series Paper Stack.

I'm Thankful For......

 Hi Stampers!
I just love this stamp offered in the Holiday Catalog.  It's a simple stamp but holds so much meaning.  I made these simple flat cards to have everyone who attends my sister's Thanksgiving   dinner (she is hosting this year, yay!) fill out and then we'll pin them up on her board she has in her dining room using the cute little Mini Metallic Clothespins and Metallic Baker's Twine in Gold.  It will be a fun way to get to know everyone plus share what we are thankful for this year. 
"Thanks to the good Lord for everyday we get to be on this ol' planet", that is what my Grandma would say to me just about every time I got off the phone with her.  I am thankful for special memories I can pass on down to my kids!  I am also thankful for you.  :)

Thankful for you~4 Feathers

Hi Stampers!
I finally gave in and got this stamp set!  I didn't know if I would use it or not, but it's so much fun!  I got the bundle and saved 15%!  (Awesome!) I really liked the way this card turned out. 
I used the textured embossing folder Wood grain on the Whisper White card stock, using Early Espresso ink I sponged over it lightly. Then placed it on top of my card base of Early Espresso card stock.  I stamped the smallest feathers also using the Early Espresso ink followed by a large feather in Early Espresso card stock and Gold Glimmer paper.  I added a simple bow from the linen thread.  The sentiment is from the Hostess set Good Greetings only available in October.

Hi stampers!
Here is a delicate and simple card I made using the Northern Flurry embossing folder #120902
The card stock colors I used are SMOKY SLATE, WHISPER WHITE and SOFT SKY, also the color of the ink I used.  The Stamp set is from 2013 Holiday catalog but is still available while supplies last.  You can find the embossing folder and card stock HERE!
