Halloween Count Down~ A Batty Halloween Tag

Hello my crafty friends,
So glad you joined me today for the 1st of my Halloween Count Down!
I just got the FABULOUS new Banner Triple Punch so I wanted to use it to create a fun little tag to attach to a package of candy.
I also used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.   The adorable bat is from the retied Bat Punch.  The NEW Black Glimmer Paper added a beautiful boarder and bat.
I used the fun little cellophane bags that Stampin' Up! has and BOOM, you have a simple but fun Halloween treat to give out.  I know I made the tag large but my thoughts were to make it large enough to write to and from in it.  You could always cut it down for a super cute tag!

Glittered Acorn/Leaf Fall Card

Hello my crafty friends!
Here is another fun fall card!  I am having so much fun with For All Things stamp set!  It is available in the ANNUAL CATALOG.

Card Recipe:
Card Stock: Hello Honey, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, Whisper White.
Stamp set:  For All Things
Accessories:  Big Shot, Leaflets Framelits, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Snail Adhesive, Two Way Glue and Dimensionals,
Little tip, when I put the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the leaf, I scrunched it up first and then applied the glue to add Glitter.  I also cut two acorns out one in Chocolate Chip and one in Hello Honey, then cut off the top and put glitter on it after I adhered it to the acorn.  You are going to LOVE the new Acorn Builder Punch, I didn't have it when I made this card it would have made it super simple to make!

Lil' Fall Fox~ Card

Hello my crafty friends!
Here is my project for today!
This cute little fox is from the The Wilderness Awaits stamp set.  I used the Blender Pens to color it with Cajun Craze, and Garden Green ink for the grass.  I like how the Blender Pens made it look like his fur was 'scruffy'.  I stamped it on Whisper White card stock and cut it out,  Using Snail Adhesive placed it in the middle of the (now retired) maple leaf die cut from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  The leaves are cut from Very Vanilla, Hello Honey, and Tangerine Tango.  The small banner is from the  Bitty Banners Framelits.  My sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Greetings stamp set.
The Early Espresso back ground was used with the Woodgrain embossing Folder and layered yet again on Crumb Cake.  For the finishing touch I added a small Linen Thread bow.
Thanks for stopping by today and taking time out of your busy day!  I hope this brought you some creative ideas of your own!!

Have a great day!

Sparkly Fall~Mini Card

Hello my crafty friends!
I have been making several cards lately and thought I would like to create something to put in a regular envelope.  When I say "regular" I mean the ones you can pick up anywhere that comes in a box of at least 80 or more you may use to mail off bills or letters.  The envelope Size is 3 3/4" x 6 1/2".   This card size is  3 1/2 x 5 1/2

I labeled this card 'sparkly' because I love adding Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the leaves to give it a crisp fall look!

Card Recipe: (All Stampin' Up)
Card Stock: Whisper White and Cajun Craze
Stamp Set: Sheltering Tree
Ink: Cucumber Crush, Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Accessories:Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2 Way Glue, Snail adhesive

Stamp-a-Stack ~Friendship cards

Hi my crafty friends!
I hope you had a lovely Labor day weekend.  Ours was spent enjoying time with family and friends.  I wish it would have been longer than just a short three day weekend!  Every minute was a joy though.

Here is my project I would like to share with you today!
I love making cards that I can just grab for a friend who needs a little lift-me-up or just a note to let them know I am thinking of them.  This design is simple enough to 'stamp-a-stack' in no time!  Plus you can use several different sentiments to suit your situation needed.
Items I used: (SU)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Watermelon Wonder
Stamp Set: Flower Shop, and a retired set from CTMH
Accessories: Candy Dots, Brights Collection
Thank you so much for joining me today!
Hope you have a great day.

Self Closing Box~ A great Labor Day Project!

Hello my crafty friends!  I have a fun project for you to try!  You have probably seen it on Pinterest or online somewhere.
It is not hard, but it does have several steps.
You will need a piece of card stock that measures 6" x 8 1/2"  and if you like to use DSP (Designer Series Paper) on the outside that paper will measure a square 3 3/4 x 3 3/4, you'll need two of these.  I used Cherry On Top DSP and Bermuda Bay card stock.

Next you'll take your paper on the 8 1/2" side and score it at 4" and 8" turn and score it at 1" and 5".
Fold all your score marks and cut the two small bits on the 1/2 inch piece and cut each score mark on the bottom.
On the 1" score mark side up, (which is the bottom of your box) mark and score from each score mark diagonal to the bottom score mark. (DO NOT GO TO THE BOTTOM OF PAPER)  Like the picture shows.
Again fold these score marks.
Now you are ready to put your DSP on!  To cut them so they fit simply cut them in half corner to corner.  The trick is, to cut one of them on the opposite side you want up so it fits correctly.  Only one you do this way.  Use Tombow Liquid glue to adhere to the card stock.
So it looks like this, next stick Fast Fuse on the the 1/2 inch side and fold shut.  Also use Fast Fuse on the bottom.

If done correctly it will look like this.  You can squeeze the two sides and it will open, you don't need anything to close it!  How fun is that?!

Confetti, textured Birthday~

Hello my crafty friends!
So glad you were able to join me today!  Here is my project I wanted to share with you.  This is my confetti textured birthday card!  The beautiful back ground paper is from Paper Studio, to add even more to this card I decided to use the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions embossing folder from SU to add raised stars to the confetti paper.  The base card stock is Pacific Point with Whisper White for the sentiment.
The Stamp set is from Sale-a-Bration 2015 Big Day, it's such a fun set!  I embossed it in Black Embossing powder and colored it with Stampin' Write markers.
Hope you enjoyed this project I had to share with you today.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you have a great day!!  Get out and enjoy this fabulous September Labor day weekend!

Hello Fall~

Hi my crafty friends!
Hooray for September!  Not only do I share my birthday this month with my brother and several cousins but it's the beginning of FALL!!  It's my favorite time of year.  With that in mind I wanted to create a fall layered card.  Here's what I came up with.
I used the SU stamp set For All Things and using Very Vanilla Card Stock cut three pieces of paper the first measuring 5 1/4" x 4" then cut each one, 1" smaller.
Simply place them on top of each other and stamp your design.
Next I layered them on Cajun Craze 1/4" larger with the base of the card being 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
If I was not going to mail this card I would have used Stampin' Dimensionals to stick each layer together to add more dimension, but I found if you mail them you have to pay extra postage for hand canceling.  Or at least at our Post Office I had to!
Before I put the layer on the base card I wrapped it twice with Linin Thread.   For a finishing touch I added a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to each leaf to give a little glisten and sparkle!
That's it!  How fun and easy was that?  They look so pretty and look difficult, but they really are not.

Thanks for looking!
I would love to hear from you, so leave a message below or you can leave a comment on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/starduststamper
Have a STAMPENDEOUS day!
