Paper Pumpkin Alternatives~I'll Bee Yours~

Hello Stampers!

I have a Paper Pumpkin Alternative from January's kit, I'll Bee yours.

This set originally was set up to create beautiful little cards with little treat bags, but it's always fun to see what you can come up with "thinking outside of the box"!

For the Mother's day Card; I cut the Mint Macaron mini card in half and using the Heart Pack punch I cut a heart in the middle of that paper. 

Used the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder to add texture to the Purple Posy cardstock. Cut open one of the bags and placed it behind the heart, stamping the sentiment first before layering the heart over the top.  After adhering all the layers down with Snail,  I then ran a ribbon around the card.

For the adorable bag I used the little treat bag and score marks on three sides, it's the mark just before the 1/2". or at the 3/8" mark.

Fold the scored marks before building your little bag, to hold the form you can put a C block in the bag so it holds its shape.  Then you can decorate the front! To close it, I punched holes in the flap and through the bag to tie it with a ribbon.

Finally, the last little project I want to share is the cute little "sour cream" container.  Simply cut the flap off so that the top is now even.  Next with it open, not flat, but opposite of the bottom fold, you want to  fold 1/2" over use bone folder to ensure the crease will go through both layers.  Then fill with goodies!  To close simply use double stick tape to close close, decorate the front as desired.  I used a tag from the kit.

Forget Your TREBLES!

I have an uplifting card to share with you today.
I made this card for my nephew who was going through a tough week at college.

He absolutely loves music so the Music from the Heart stamp set was prefect!

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. 
I heat embossed white embossing powder for the keyboard stamped with Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock.

Card Base, Real red along with ink.
Along with a Whisper White layer.

The heart is punched out from the Dog builder punch.

Timeless Tulips~Thinking of you

Happy, happy  Friday!
I have a fun tutorial to share with you today. 

Using the Timeless Tulips Photopolymer stamp set and some creative time, I made this pretty friendship card.

First I created the pretty 'banner' on the side of Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Granny Apple Green, Brushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry ink and sponged a strip masking it with a piece of copy paper.

Next I stamped and fussy cut a layer of flowers around the strip.  The preprinted sentiment is from the FREE Sale-a-Bration set, Kerchief Card Kit.

Blossoms for Mother's day

Hello Stampers!
Happy day to you. 

I have a mother's day project to share with you today. 
Using the Forever Blossoms Clear stamp set with matching dies, Cherry Blossoms.

I couldn't make up my mind which color I wanted to use so I created one of each!
Card stock: Ronco Rose, Gorgeous Grape, Purple Posy, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White.

Markers used: Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green

Colored with Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green.

 

Colored with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.

Popped it up on dimensionals and painted the petals with Wink of Stella.

DSP used, Best Dressed 6x6 paper pack.

From My Heart~Melon Mango

Hello Stampers!
Here is my project share for today.
One week closer to Valentine's day!  My Valentine Countdown continues!

My son was helping me create this card so he wanted to add a bright Melon Mango heart to the center of the the card so, in his words, "it makes it pop, mom!"  He's right, it makes the center of the card really pop.

The card base is Lovely Lipstick, with a Whisper White layer.

To an A+ Teacher~Wiggle Worm card

Hello Stampers!
I have a special Teacher appreciation card to share with you today.
I always start early on these because no matter how many I create I seem to always use all of them up!
