Massive Thanks DSP Quick cards~

 Hello Stampers!

Happy Friday to you, the last day of April!  Time to get to creating!  It's nice when the weather is not very nice outside so you can stay inside and actually do some fun creating without feeling guilty!  

Here are some more thank you cards I created for all those who have sent cards and phone calls of encouragement for my husband's health.  

 

I enjoy creating cards with DSP as a focal point!  

DSP used for this project, Flowers for Every Season.

I cut most DSP pieces 3"x3" and a layer of cardstock 1/4" larger.

Cardstock used:

• Misty Moonlight In Color
• Purple Posy In color (retiring!) 
• Crushed Curry
• Petal Pink
• So Saffron

I am going to miss the Massive Thanks stamp set, especially this sentiment!  The inside is stamped with "It's a hug with a fold in the middle"!  

Additional Materials used:

• Liquid Tombow Glue
• Stampin' Seal
• Brilliant Wings Dies
• Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
• Paper Trimmer
• Paper Snips

Any strips or scraps of cardstock you have laying around would work perfect for these type cards.

DSP Quick Card~ From the Hydrangea Hill Suite

 Hello Stampers!

Do you need a card in a snap?  Don't have time to create a beautiful background?  Use your Designer Series Paper, (DSP!)

This paper is from the Hydrangea Hill Suite.  

The sentiment is also from this same suite, Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer stamp set. 

I love the DSP from Stampin' Up!  It's so pretty you can use it for any style of quick cards!

Last Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek before it goes LIVE!

Hello Stampers!
Happy Labor day!  Here in the US we have today from work to stay home and work.  Anyone who has follows me knows my favorite holiday is by far, Halloween!  I really like the new Monster Bash Designer Series Paper! 

Team that up with the Cat punch and BOOM, you have a 5 minute or less card!  Yay!! We all love quick cards.

The stamp set I used is Spooktacular Bash Stamp set.

Hello Stampers!

When I know it's getting close to the new catalog I like to use up some of my current Designer Series Paper. 

Today I chose to use some of my Gingham Gala DSP 6x6" paper pack.

I picked the Beautiful You stamp set to make simple thank you cards.

Card Stock: Grapefruit Gove, Whisper White Thick.

Ink: Black Memento Ink

Coloring: Stampin' Blends in Granny Apple Green and light Petal Pink

I stamped the image of the lady on the Gingham Gala paper then cut out only the dress and her hat.  It creates a pretty dress and quick card!

Added some 'grass' with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend marker.  The final touch was the Grapefruit Grove ribbon from the Sale-a-bration!  Attached with Liquid Glue.  

I just love Quick Cards!

Country Livin' birthday card~

Hello Stampers!

I have a quick and easy Country Livin' card to share with you today. 

This quick card is also teamed up with the Love What You Do photopolymer stamp set, and Beautiful You.

I added some soft yellow Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the center of the flowers colored in Flirty Flamingo Watercolor pencils then softer on the boots.

The greenery is stamped in Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sea Foam.  Card stock used, Whisper White and Blushing Bride.

The sentiment and boots are stamped using the Memento Black Ink.  I fussy cut the boots out and layered it over the greenery.  Then to add shadow by coloring with the Basic Gray Watercolor pencils and blending it with a Bender Pen.

Lucky Friend~Powder Pink

Here is a 5 minute card created with the Love What You Do Stamp set.

Background stamped with the beautiful Hardwood stamp set stamped in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake card stock.  Layers are in Very Vanilla and Powder Pink.

Also used, Stitched Shapes Framelits.   Nice quick layout for a card in a snap!

Hello Stampers!

Here is my project for today, I needed a thank you card and created this one with supplies that were on my desk. 

Card base, Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla along with Share What you Love Speciality DSP.

I added some cut pearlized doilies, and pearls.  To top it off I added a tiny bow in the Mint Macaron, part of the Nature's Twine pack.

I love Stampin' Up!  I don't need to run to the store to pick up a card.  Plus, it means so much more when it is created from the heart!  #makeacardsendacard

Congratulations, you did it!

Hello Stampers!
I was asked for 'one more Graduation card, please'!  I love getting special orders to create a card.
This is what I came up with.

Color layout, simple, Whisper White Thick and Basic Black card stock were used along with Silver Glimmer paper.

Confetti Stars Border punch, and Bravo Stamp set.  This layout was super simple, and when you need a card in a snap, simple is the way to go.

Dragonfly Dreams birthday~Quick Cards

Hello Stampers!
If you want to use up some of the smaller scrap pieces, I have a card project for you!

Do you also want a quick card?  This one is created under 5 minutes!  I used the Dragonfly Dreams and matching Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.

A 2"x5 1/4" piece of DSP and some Pink Glimmer paper to cut out the dragonflies.   Attached it with Liquid Glue, then stamped the Sentiment and this card project is done!

TTTC030 Saturday Share~

Hello Stampers!

Happy weekend to you!  I have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge to share with you today.

I chose straight row down on the right, Floral, No Sentiment, and Purple.

This one was a little bit more challenging for me to figure out.  I usually can't do a card without some kind of sentiment on the front but I really liked the way this card turned out.

I used the new Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Heartfelt Blooms along with Fresh Fig card stock.

I stamped the image with Fresh Fig and sponged a hint of Lemon Lime Twist on the leaves.  I added 'color' by using Wink of Stella to the petals of the daisies.  Then used Wink of Stella in Black to add a dark sparkle to the center.

Flourishing Phrases~Sympathy card

Hello Stampers!
Never a fun card to create in the month of December, but always needed. 

I used the Flourishing Phrases stamp set to create this card along with the sentiment from Rose Wonder.

Triple Banner Punch made creating the flag a snap!  Colors used were In Color Powder Pink, and retired Mint Macaron. 

I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the 'dots' on the image.  It adds some beauty to a simple card.

Hope you had a nice weekend.  I got some fun stamping done and worked hard on getting crafts ready for the upcoming craft bazaar here in town!

Have you seen the new beautiful Floral Statements?  These are such pretty stamps!  It's a set of only two but they are well worth it!

Christmas Flurry~coloring with the Aqua Painter

Hello Stampers!
I have a pretty Christmas share for you today.

This card was created with the Flurry of Wishes Photopolymer stamp set.  Stamped on Whisper White thick cards stock and layered on a card base of Whisper White thick.

I stamped the image with VersaMark and embossed it with white Embossing Powder.  Next, I took the Aqua Painter and a drop of Emerald Envy refill ink dropped in the lid of the ink pad, I swished some color over the embossed image.
The two smaller snowflakes were stamped on Vellum and popped up on Dimensionals.
This was my Christmas Challenge for October on Splitcoaststamper!

Five minute card with Spooky Cat!

Hello Stampers!

Have you gotten to play with the new Cat Punch yet?  You are going to have so much fun with this simple pet punch!

This card was created in a snap with the Cat Punch, a strip of Spooky Night DSP and Vintage Crochet Trim!

Stamp set used, Spooky Cat photopolymer set.  Just incase you were wondering, I had a 'halo' from the image I stamped so I created a 'spider' with the Stampin' Write marker!  So easy to fix a boo-boo!

Let's be friends forever~5 minute card!

Hello Stampers!
I have a quick and simple project to share with you today.
I used the photopolymer stamp set, Eastern Beauty to create this pretty card.

I stamped the images in Fresh Fig and Sweet Sugarplum.

To 'shade in' the stamped image I used Wink of Stella!  I found out it smears the color from the stamped image when you use it on water color paper.  It actually turned out really pretty, I think!
