Retired Set Saturday~ Rose Wonder and Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms

 Hello Stampers!

There has been so many wonderful stamp sets created by Stampin' Up! When they retire it is sad because it seems like we don't use them anymore, I am going to change that!  Thank you for joining for another Retired Set Saturday!

Rose Wonder is the stamp set I am showcasing today.  

I teamed this beautiful retied stamp set with the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, Paper Blooms #155222

Sympathy cards are so hard to create but I am always thankful I have them on hand.  I let the DSP do the work and made a banner with Basic White then stamped in Night of Navy.  

Cardstock: Seaside Spray. Night of Navy and Basic White.

Card base:

11 x 4 1/4 card base scored at 5 1/2

Layered pieces are 1/8th of an inch smaller each time.

Layered piece:

DSP start with 3x3" and go 1/8th inch bigger with each layer.

Banner 1" x 4" and cut to desired length after stamping.

Heading to the end of Sale-a-bration! One more card share of Berry Blessings and Berry Delightful DSP!

Hello Stampers!

Can you believe Sale-a-bration is almost over?  It's the 26th today and Sale-a-bration ends on February 28th!  BUT there is good news, Stampin' Up is going to have ANOTHER Sale-a-bration this year!  Did you catch that?  YES!  during the summer, we will have another fabulous Sale-a-bration!  

There will be new wonderful items to pick from.  One of my favorites from this Sale-a-bration is the Berry Blessings Stamp set with matching Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper!  

I like this Sale-a-bration item because it has a matching stamp set in the Occasions catalog! It is oooh so yummy! Sweet Strawberry Bundle.

This DSP was so pretty it it's fun to use both sides on the same card!  I simply cut a piece of DSP at 5 1/4" x 4".  To add the 'tear back' I turned the paper and cut 1 3/4" then simply folded it back. 

 

Stamped Basic White layer then attached the DSP and Basic White to a card base of Poppy Parade or Garden Green. 

Added a white baker's twine bow attached with Glue Dots. 

Ink: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Basic Gray.

Rococo Rose and Paper Blooms Healing Hugs ~ Card

Hello Stampers!

Here is my project share for today.

I needed another Get Well card so I grabbed my Healing Hugs stamp set and the Free Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms DSP to create this beautiful Rococo Rose and Just Jade card.

Card Stock: Basic White and a scrap of Just Jade.

Ink: Rococo Rose, Just Jade and Memento Black

I stamped the rose on a pieces of Rococo Rose and fussy cut it out with the ever sharp Stampin' Up Paper Snips.  Before placing the rose down with Dimensionals on the 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" Basic White,  I stamped three sets of leaves in Just Jade. 

Adhered the strip of Just Jade to the Basic White with Stampin' Seal, then pop it up with Dimensionals. 

Place the Basic White layer on the adhered layer of DSP cut at 5 6/16 x  4 3/16.

Card base: A-2.

Do you need a card in a snap?  Don't have time to create a beautiful background?  Use your Designer Series Paper, (DSP!)

This paper is from the Hydrangea Hill Suite.  

The sentiment is also from this same suite, Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer stamp set. 

I love the DSP from Stampin' Up!  It's so pretty you can use it for any style of quick cards!

I enjoy the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, it reminds me of spring!  I am glad I got some of this paper before it's gone, I know it's gonna make some very pretty Easter cards!

Collect Friends along the Way~ Sand & Sea Suite

Hello Stampers!

Have you checked out the Sand & Sea Suite?  It's such a pretty and detailed suite!  There are so many beautiful pieces to this suite.

Using some of the suite, here's my project share for today.

-Card stock: So Saffron card base 

-Pearlescent Specialty Paper

-Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (sprayed with the mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol in the Stampin' Spritzer).

The detail in the 3-D Embossing Folder is crazy!  It's so incredibly beautiful!  Then teamed up with the Die to cut out the detailed embossing and WOW you have a beautiful image!

Ink: So Saffron, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron along with Black Tuxedo Memento ink.

-Everyday Label Punch

 -Additional Materials Used: Blender Pens, Opal Rounds, Mini Dimensionals, Frosty White Shimmer Paint, Stampin' Spritzers (place a few drops of the Frosty White Shimmer paint in the spritzer mixed with rubbing alcohol).

Hey Birthday Chick card assortment

  Hello Stampers!

I was having way too much fun with the "Hey Chick" Bundle and FREE Oh So Ombre Sale-a-bration paper and I just had to share my projects! 

Hey Birthday Chick stamp set with matching Birthday Chick Dies

Dancing Chick Happy Birthday-

-Card stock- Granny Apple Green A-2 card size with a layer of Basic Black 1/4" larger than the two pieces of Oh So Ombre DSP, with and without circles cut to 4 x 5 1/4".  2 x 4 piece of So saffron for die cut ribbon, scraps of Basic White for chicks and Granny Apple Green for birthday die cut.

-On the 4 x 5 1/4" of Oh So Ombre DSP use the Layered Circle Dies to cut out a circle.  I popped it and the chick up on Dimensionals. 

Ink: Black Memento Ink,

Chicks colored with Stampin' Blends in Mango Melody light, Granny Apple Green Light and Real Red light.

Floating Birthday Chick-

-Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Black Berry Bliss and Basic Black for layers and scraps of Basic White to stamp chicks out and punched Double Oval 

- 5 x 4 3/4" Layer of Oh So Ombre in Bermuda Bay and Black Berry Bliss.

Basic A-2 Card size with layers of a 1/4" inch and a top layer of Basic Black of 3x4"

-Pop up balloon chick, and punched oval with birthday greeting attached with Liquid Glue up on Dimensionals.  I added polka-dots to the die cut words happy birthday with the Stampin' Blends Bermuda Bay Light and Rich Razzleberry Dark.  Both are cut out of scraps of the Oh So Ombre DSP.

Cup cake fun fold chick card-

-Card Stock: Basic White cut at 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2" and CUT one side at 2 3/4" save that piece and turn it to layer the Oh So Ombre DSP and Chick on sideways.  

Plus another piece of Basic White to stamp and cut out with the Birthday Chick Dies.  

Happy birthday greeting cut out of a scrap of Coastal Cabana.

-Oh So Ombre DSP colors picked Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay both cut at 4 1/8" x 2 5/8"

-Chick colored with Stampin' Blends in Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Bermuda Bay then popped up with Dimensionals.

I totally enjoy this bundle, it makes me laugh and don't we all need a good laugh these days?  I hope you create cards or projects today and just have fun!

Hope you are doing well today.

I have so many friends who are not feeling well lately, either from accidents and are now healing or just feeling under the weather (probably due to our fidgetily cold weather!)  I got out my Healing Hugs stamp set and created some get well cards. 

Here is my project share for today.

Stamp set: Healing Hugs

Card stock: Basic White, Just Jade

I stamped the rose in Rococo Rose on a scrap piece of Basic White then fussy cut it out popping it up on some Dimensionals. 

To create the banner, I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. 

Ink: Just Jade, Honey Bee, Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose and Memento Tuxedo Black.

You've Been on my Mind~

 Hello Stampers!

Great you are here!  Did you have a nice weekend?  It is still very cold here in Montana, I am speaking -34 with Windchill!   My new puppy still loves going outside however!  ha ha  Crazy poochies makes me put on 5 layers of clothes to only go outside for about 3 minutes!  ha-ha  It's all good, I know spring is coming!  

 Here is my project share for today.

Simply Succulents Cling Stamp set.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Crumb Cake.

Additional materials used: Stitched Shapes Dies, Potted Succulents Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, Pinewood Planks 3-D Embossing Folder, Stampin' Seal.

Card stock used: Crumb Cake and Basic White

Stampin' Blends in Mint Macaron light and dark, Old Olive, Purple Posy and Just Jade.

Happy Birthday with Sprinkles on top! Sweet Ice Cream bundle

Hello Stampers!

Here's my project share for today.

Let's bring out the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer stamp set to create a fun birthday card!

Don't you just love the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles!?  They look so real!

Cardstock: Purple Posy, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White.

DSP: Ice Cream Corner 

Use the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch to cut out the images stamped in Black Berry Bliss and stamped off once then added sprinkles in same share. Cone stamped in Cinnamon Cider.

Popped up sentients on dimensionals.
