Summertime, summertime!!

Hello Stampers!

Happy day to you!  It's official, in our home we are on summer break!  Because my children are still at home and not off to college, I am not going to be posting everyday on my blog.  I want to spend as much time with them as possible before they are gown and gone.
I will try and post at least two times a week, maybe three.  My online website will still be up and running so you can always look at the latest products online! Or of course you can contact me.

Using the oooh so yummy stamp set Cool Treats and stamp from Great Impressions I created a fun door hanger for each of my kids.

This one was stamped in Chocolate Chip and Peekaboo Peach!

Happy Memorial Day~Wild and Free

Hello Stampers!
Happy Memorial Day.
When I think of all the soldiers who have fought for our freedom somehow watching wild horses run free came to mind.  So I dug out my horse stamp set and created this card.

I stamped a clear block size "I" in Real Red and stamped on the top of a Whisper White Thick card stock then turned it around and stamped in Pacific Point.  To make the Red, White and Blue.

Then stamped the wild horses in Memento Black ink.
The card base Woodgrain was stamped with Chocolate Chip and then later I decided to color it with Colored Pencil.  A small piece of Linen Thread wrapped makes a great horse rope!

Gift of Love~Thank you card colored with Aqua Painters

Hello Stampers!

I absolutely adore this stamp set.  I am so glad I was able to get it before it's gone!
Here are two cards I made with the Gift of Love Photopolymer Hostess set.

Instead of using the two step stamping to add color I used the Aqua Painters to color in with the Rich Razzleberry and New In Color, Berry Burst.

I then added some Wink of Stella for a pretty shimmer.

Hope you are able to enjoy an extra long weekend as we remember all the men and woman who served in our US Armed Services.

New In Color, Powder Pink-Best Birds

Happy day to you.
I am really liking the new In Color Powder Pink!  Such a soft color.

I used the Photopolymer stamp set, Best Birds and stamped them in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.

Cutting out the birds was a snap by using the matching Birds & Blooms Thinlits and Big Shot!

Happy Wednesday to you!  I am so thrilled to share another fun card I created with the sketch from FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES.

It is nice to see a sketch and challenge yourself to create a project with that sketch in mind.  I used Cool Treats Photopolymer stamp set with matching Tasty Treats Specialty DSP which is retiring!   I am so glad this set will be sticking around in the new catalog!

The Frozen Treats Framelits Dies were used to cut out these cute treats.

Paper Pumpkin kit for May!

Thank you card using the Eastern Palace DSP

I have a super quick and simple card to share with you today. Don't you just love the New Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series paper?

The Stampin' Up team designed this paper with peacocks in mind. How fun is that?  Can you see it?  I can!

In this pack they have two special sheets with shiny gold accent to each sheet. One sheet with  Very Vanilla and the other one with In Color Dapper Denim.

YOU are the BEST! A Paper Pumpkin card variation.

I just have to say, you are going to LOVE the new In Colors Stampin' Up! has to offer!  I am loving this bright Lemon Lime Twist.

I teamed it up with materials from April's Paper Pumpkin kit.

Along with a flower from the Paper Pumpkin Kit I used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits to create the flower cut out in Basic Black.

I made several up and one variation was with Washi Tape!  This was a CASE card and I am so loving it!!

A Spring Thank You using the Tree Builder Punch FM288

Hello Stampers!

I have not had the chance to participate in the weekly sketches from FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES in such a long time that I took the opportunity being I did not have to work today.

I wanted to use up some of my DSP that I have not used in awhile.  So I chose the beautiful Fruit Stand DSP.   When I seen this paper I thought of a Peach Tree and sweet blossoms!  I used the Tree Builder Punch to create this cute little tree in a snap!

Here is their sketch.  There are so possibilities with this sketch!

I added Wink of Stella to the blossoms.
Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Suede, Whisper White and Smoky Slate.
Ink: Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray

Graduation countdown!

Hello Stampers!
Happy Monday to you.
I can't believe that Graduation is only in two weeks.  This school year has gone by so quickly.  None of my children are graduating this year but we know several of them, so I better get hoppin' on creating some cards!

I used the Large Number Framelits to add the year to this card. Sentiment is from Suite Sentiments.

The Graduation hat was simply made by cutting some Basic Black down to 1 1/4" square and the tassel from the Balloon Framelits.

The Best things in life are SWEET! Friendship card

I have a quick card to share with you today.  My daughter needed a card to cheer up a friend so I whipped out this card and she popped it in the mail!

I used the bright and cheery Frozen Treats Framelits Dies,Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape, Retiring In Colors Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe,  Peekaboo Peach (not retiring), and Whisper White Thick.

I also used the retiring Gorgeous Grunge for the background stamped in Watermelon Wonder.

Love Birds, Happy Anniversary

Hello Stampers!
Have you heard the pretty songs from the birds in your neighborhood?  They sure do put on a concert for me!  They are so thrilled it is spring!  So am I.  I just wish we would get a little bit more rain, it is already so dry in our area.

I just got this adorable set, I wanted to purchase it and save 10% as a bundle!! Hurry, you can too.  New Catalog comes out June 1st and then the bundle will not be available.  I think I found my new set I am going to love!  I think of my grandma who just loved birds when I seen this set.

I used So Saffron Card stock for the birds.  Whisper White and Stampin' Write markers to color in the tree and flowers in Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi and Soft Suede.  Then added a pretty pearl to the center.

Enjoy Today~Special project card!

Hello Stampers!
so glad you would pop on over to my blog today.
I have a special card to share with you today.  Every day I come and work on some kind of stamping project in my office and my 4 year old son watches me. He asked me if he could help make a card and I said sure!

This is what we came up with!  I let him pick out the set, and he chose the pretty Eastern Beauty Suite.  The In Colors Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Cucumber Crush (retiring) and Crushed Curry.  I let him use the sponge the colors over the base of the card.  Then we took the Eastern Medallions Thinlits and cut out some shapes on another piece of Whisper White Thick.

Did some stamping with the new Tranquil Tide and Peekaboo Peach.
Added some Enamel dots and a Peekaboo Peach bow.  Popped it up on some dimensionals and that was it.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  He chose to send it to grandma.

Happy Birthday to a real "Classic!"

Happy day to you.
I have a fun 'classic' project to share with you today.  My dad's birthday is coming up and although he is a cowboy through and through I picked out the beautiful old car from the Photopolymer stamp set, Guy Greetings.

Teamed it up with some basic Black, and Whisper White card stock.

Although it's hard to see in the photo, I used the Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder on the Basic Black.

What a great weekend!

Hello Stampers!

Hope you had a great weekend!  We attended the High School State Music Festival and it was wonderful.  So many talented young adults!

While were in the motel I brought along some stamping supplies and while the kids were all sleeping from the busy day I got creative!
I just love the Cool Treats Bundle!  Now that the weather is getting a little bit warmer it's even more fun to create with this set! Ha ha

I was not sure if I wanted this as a birthday card or just a thinking of you card so I left a sentiment off, for now.  I like this layout though!  You can use up those scraps!!
