Sweet Surprise from my Secret Pal!

 

Look what came in the mail today for me!  Happy mail from my Secret Pal! She is very creative and I just had to share the cute projects she sent me! 

 The stamp set used is from the Wildflower Meadow, Kind and Cozy, and Gifts of Kindness.
The paper is the wonderful Designer Series Paper Gingham Garden.


The adorable book markers are made from the MDS (My Digital Studio).

THROW BACK THURSDAY! Button Bear card

Hi stampers!
I want to start something 'new'!  I am going to try and share a retired stamp set and project with you on 'Throw back Thursday'!

Button Bear started this whole adventure of Stampin' Up off for me.  I was invited to my first Stampin' Up party back in 1996 and ever since then I was hooked on Stamping!  I right away booked a workshop and earned tons of awesome products from Stampin' Up, this one being one of them.

Sweet Valentine Treat Box!

 Hi stampers!
Hope my little blog note finds you all in good health!  I know the nasty flu bug is going around my town!  It's no fun when your kids and then you get it, yuck! 

Let's get to the fun part!  I love making boxes and these are two boxes I made using what's called a "A2 Card Box".  

The products I used are as follows:
-Real Red and Whisper White Stampin' UP card stock. 
-Deco Labels Framelits
-Fashionable Hearts Embosslits
-Sticky Strip
and then a Non Stampin' UP but is a Sizzix product is the "Triple Heart" Sizzix die I like it too much not to use it as a sample! 
I also left the white part of the label on the  box white because I was not sure who I wanted to give it to yet.

Scalloped Envelope Valentine treat holder**Plus sneak peak at sale-a-bration!

I was not sure which one was the best picture so I posted all of them!  :) 

These are made using the Sizzix Scalloped Envelope die.  They are so cute and so easy to make!  My daughter has already started making them for her classmates!  That is how easy they are to make a second grader can do it!

Valentine Cozy Bath Salts

Hi Crafty friends!
Here is another idea for Valentine's day or to give to a friend just because she needs a break and a cozy warm bath would do the trick!

I UP-cycled and used a Star Buck's Frappe glass container to hold these wonderful bath salts. 
I simply cleaned off the label and spray painted the lid and then sponged it with the matching colors I used for decorating it, then it was ready for my bath salts.

BATH SALTS RECIPE,
1 Cup Epson Salt
1/2 C Sea Salt
3 T Baking Soda
Scented oils, (I used lavender)
Food coloring if you want to add color, (I used pink)

The belly band is cut at 9x1.5 inches
GLIMMER PAPER heart was cut from Stampin' Up Sizzix hearts second to the smallest
STRAWBERRY SLUSH heart was cut from the smallest Sizzix heart
LOVE BANNER and small HEART is from the SALE-A-BRATION set BANNER BLAST
Stamped in STRAWBERRY SLUSH AND CRAFT WHITE
