A Little Love Note from Snowman!

 Hi Stampers!
Here are two cards I made using the SNOW DAY stamp set and from the Occasions Mini, coming January 3-2014 the new stamp set LOVE YOU TO THE MOON.
The colors are Raspberry Ripple and STRAWBERRY SLUSH both In-Color colors, Plus the papers I also used are WHISPER WHITE and a piece of SWEATER WEATHER.

The hearts are from the Sizzix Embosslits folder from Stampin' Up.

The card above I used the silver ribbon which will also be available again in the Occasions Mini and the card on the right I rounded the corners and added Raspberry Ripple ribbon.

New Year Kisses!

 Hi Crafty Friends!!

I had to share with you what we are handing out for our New Year's Eve party!
 New Year's KISSES! 

These adorable little boxes hold a single Hersey's Kiss.  Which on the strike of midnight you get to open it up and have a sweet kiss!

Here is what you need to make this adorable box!


A piece of DSP, which I used WINTER FROST (hurry if you want some the sale on this paper ends January 3rd!)
 Cut at 3x5 and on the 3 inch size score it at 1 and 2 inches.
Next turn it and score it at 1, 2, 3, and 4 inches. 
Fold on the score marks and then cut up to the one inch score marks on the 5 inch side.  Then starting with the center of the box fold and glue as you fold your box together.  Before you do the lid you want to use the 3/4 inch punch and make a small notch for the opening spot. 

There ya have it!  So stinkin' cute!

Mini Treat Holder using Envelope Punch Board

Hello Crafty Friends!
Here is another simple idea for a Valentine's day give away. 
I used the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD and made this cute little treat holder and TAGS 4 YOU stamp set from the Holiday MINI OCCASIONS catalog.

What you need is a piece of paper, I used REAL READ DSP, cut at 5 1/2 x5 1/2.  Using your ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD, your first punch will be at 2 inches and score then SLIDE the paper over to 2 5/8 inch and punch then score again.  Then you just turn and line up your score marks and punch then score the rest of paper turning to the left each time.
I used STICKY STRIP to hold it together and used the SILVER 1/8 RIBBON from the OCCASIONS MINI catalog to wrap around it.  I used REAL RED ink to stamp out the 'Happy Heart Day' stamp and used the BRACKET LABEL punch to punch it out.

Christmas Gifts to me!

 Hi Crafty Friends!
I wanted to share a few things I got for Christmas this year. 

I got a new Martha Stewart farm animal punch and some fun iridescent glitter. 

The two stamps I had, the "Many thanks" is from  a retired Stampin' Up set and the horse I honestly don't know who made that one, I got it from a stamp shop and it does not have any name on it, but it's pretty! 

I stamped the horse with Chocolate Chip Stampin' UP ink and used the green Martha Stewart glitter to add color to the 'grass'.    I punched a boarder on the Ivory paper and colored it with retired pastels from Stampin' Up, I sure do miss those being in the catalog!

I used the Oval punch and Scallop oval punch to punch out the Many Thanks.

Valentine's Day lotion holder

Hi crafty friends!
Here is a super cute way to hold your mini lotion or something similar.
I used the Sizzix Large Die Scallop bag to cut out the cute little bag in POPPY PARADE and didn't use the sides just the main frame.  I used glue dots to hold the lotion to the bag.  I also punched out hearts in BLUSHING BRIDE and used another Sizzix die to cut out the word love in RETIRED ALMOST AMETHYST.

SNOWMAN SOUP MUG!

Hi stampers!I am so happy to show you this!  I was playing around with other online ideas and came up with this one!  I think it's super easy!!  So easy you can make them for friends or family even neighbors who are hard to buy for!  :) 

Here is the snowman poem:
SNOWMAN SOUP
Was told you've been real good this year.
Always glad to hear it!
With freezing weather drawing near, you'll need to warm the sprit.
So here's a little Snowman Soup complete with stirring stick.
Add hot water, sip it slow.  It's sure to do the trick!

Care Packages (non Stampin' Up)

Hi Crafty friends!
I wanted to share these two little baskets I made for some friends. 
One was a "Cozy Warm Feeling" basket filled with a pair of fuzzy socks, cozy blanket, Sleepy time Tea, a candle, collectable tea cup filled with Dove Chocolates.  I could have showed the tags I made for them but forgot to take a picture of it all together before it was sent, so that is why I labeled this 'non Stampin' Up'. 
The next little basket is for a friend who just loves foot spa treatments!  So I filled it with a pair of flip flops and a foot spa treatment kit from Mary Kay.  She loved it!  :)   

Pillow Pockets!

Hi Stampers!
Here is another fun idea!  The pillow pockets are such a fun way to share little messages plus treats!  You can also add little gifts such as earrings, or something as simple as dental floss!  (I know cheesy, but it fits!)

Reindeer Food Box

Here is the cute little box I made for my reindeer food hand outs this year! 

Reindeer Food 'recipe'
1 cup Oatmeal, quick or old fashion
Glitter, just sprinkled!  That's it!!

There is also a plan 'B' recipe, you can use
1 Cup oatmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1T red sugar sprinkles
1T green sugar sprinkles
This one is 'friendly' incase they want to test it to see if it tastes good!

Count Down to Christmas with my kids!

Every year my kids and I think of a new and fun way to count down to Christmas.  This year they take turns selecting a day and getting to do a fun activity!  Today is "Decorate your bedrooms for Christmas".  So I thought how much fun would it be to prepare some items for them to OPEN when they are ready to decorate!  :) 

I stamped white lunch bags with the FESTIVE FLURRY #131781 available from the Stampin' Up Holiday catalog HERE  and cut out some snowflakes using the FESTIVE FLURRY Framelits #132193. 
Then added a small box of lights they can plug in, red, green and white paper to make a paper chain, not pictured are the glue sticks, fishing line (to hang the snowflakes) and a candy cane.
